What Do We Do ?

अंक शास्त्र में अंकों की मदद से व्यक्ति के भविष्य के बारे में जानकारी दी जाती है।
हिंदी में इसकी गूढ़ विद्या को अंक शास्त्र और अंग्रेजी में न्यूमेरोलॉजी कहते हैं।
वास्तव में अंकशास्त्र में नौ ग्रहों सूर्य, चन्द्र, गुरू, यूरेनस, बुध, शुक्र, वरूण, शनि और मंगल की विशेषताओं के आधार पर गणना की जाती है। इन में से प्रत्येक ग्रह के लिए 1 से लेकर 9 तक कोई एक अंक निर्धारित किया गया है, जो कि इस बात पर निर्भर करता है कि कौन से ग्रह पर किस अंक का असर होता है।

अंक शास्त्र में खासतौर से गणित के कुछ नियमों का प्रयोग कर व्यक्ति के जीवन के विभिन्न पहलुओं का आकलन कर उनके आने वाली जिंदगी के बारे में भविष्यवाणी की जाती है। अंक शास्त्र में जातक की जन्म तिथि के आधार पर मूलांक निकालकर उसके भविष्य फल की गणना की जाती है।

अंक शास्त्र तीन तरह से व्यक्ति के जीवन को प्रभावित करता है, 
मूलांक, भाग्यांक और नामांक। 
मूलांक आपकी जन्म तिथि होती है।
भाग्यांक को पूरी जन्मतिथि जोड़कर निकाला जाता है। 
नामांक को भी जोड़कर निकाला जाता है। 
नामांक में नाम की स्पेलिंग बदलकर बदलाव किया जा सकता है लेकिन मूलांक और भाग्यांक में नहीं।
